My name is Sonia Smith and I jointly own Trevallion Stud with my father Nelson Smith and son Dean Smith.

I feel very fortunate that from a very early age I have always had Welsh ponies and cobs in my life as my father and grandfather both bred these beautiful animals.

Our stud was based on the Pentre Eiddwen Comet line and he still appears in the pedigrees of many of our horses today.

We have been very successful in showing and breeding Welsh ponies and cobs and have won many major shows, more recently we have much success with our Welsh Cob stallions out on the ridden circuit section C and D.

I have been very fortunate to be invited to judge in many countries including Denmark, Czech Republic, Germany and Netherlands as well as at home in the Uk, last year I judged The International Show in the Netherlands and this year I felt very honoured to judge Glanusk Stallion Show.

I am very much looking forward to coming to Germany to judge the Anniversary National Show.
